Join the Travelling Film Festival journey

Film-fan favourite the Travelling Film Festival (TFF) returns to the Territory this month, with stops in Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs. With feature films, a documentary and short films, there is something for all lovers of the big screen.

Rising Territory star Pedrea Jackson attended the opening night Darwin premiere of Sweet As at BCC Cinemas Casuarina on Thursday, 9 February 2023, with the Darwin TFF running until Sunday, 12 February 2023. One of the stars of acclaimed heart-warmer Sweet As, Jackson is an in-demand young actor who recently starred alongside Eric Bana in Blueback.

The Katherine TFF will run from 10-12 February at Katherine Cinema 3, while the Alice Springs event will run from 24-27 February at Alice Springs Cinema.

TFF Manager Lisa Kitching said the TFF program offers so much choice.

“We are thrilled to be returning to the Territory with such a remarkable set of films for audiences to experience,” she said. “It’s tough to recommend one film over another amidst a program of such calibre, so have a browse and book whatever spikes your interest. Whatever you choose, it won’t disappoint!”

Other films showing include Oscar-nominated, Sydney Film Festival Prize Winner and Cannes Grand Prix Winner Close, and Cannes Palme d’Or winner and Oscar Best Picture nominee Triangle of Sadness.
